Who we are

BPI Group since 2008

BPI Group (Business Process Improvement Group) is a consulting company specialising in operations management and lean manufacturing.

The company was founded in 2008 as the local representative of the British NAc Group, a partner of Nissan Motor UK, to transform the production system of PJSC Nord in Donetsk. Within four years all of the group’s plants were transformed, and more than 100 supervisors and production managers were trained at the Lean Practitioners Academy set up for the project.

The experience of our British colleagues and years of work on the shop floor became the foundation of BPI Group as an independent company. Today we help manufacturers make their business simpler, faster, better and cheaper.

Our journey: much of it a first for Ukraine

2008
BPI Group founded – as the representative of the British NAc Group, a partner of Nissan Motor UK, on the PJSC Nord transformation project.
2011
EBRD accreditation – under the Business Advisory Services programme, and our first independent project.
2013
Ukraine’s first Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt course – launched together with the PwC Academy. Green Belt followed later.
2016
LeanForum – a professional community of practitioners and an annual international conference.
2018
Lean Factory training centre – opened together with Beewatec. BPI Group is an authorised representative of this maker of modular workstations.
2019
Ukraine’s first Shingo Institute Licensed Affiliate – one of 15 Shingo Model programme providers worldwide.
2020
Partnership with CDI – the Mission Directed Work Teams methodology becomes available in Ukraine.
2022
CSSC accreditation – our Lean Six Sigma Yellow and Green Belt programmes are accredited by the Council for Six Sigma Certification.
2023
BPI Academy – launch of our online learning platform.
2024
Lean Tour – launch of learning tours to the Ekipazh, DLight, Elopak and Darnitsa plants.
2025
Lean Manager Program – a full course for training transformation leaders.
2026
Lean Six Sigma Yellow and Green Belt relaunched – on our own online platform together with the PwC Academy Ukraine.

Shingo Institute

Since 2019 we have been a licensed affiliate provider of Shingo Institute training programmes.

Leaders often find that lean tools alone do not deliver the results they want. A successful transformation depends not only on knowing what to do and how, but also on understanding why and under which conditions it works. The world-renowned Discover Excellence workshop from the Shingo Institute builds a systemic understanding of transformation based on the Shingo Model, and it is now available in Ukraine.

The programme fully meets the requirements set by the Council for Six Sigma Certification in the CSSC Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Body of Knowledge.

The Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt programme is certified by CSSC. After completing the course, participants receive a certificate accredited by the Council for Six Sigma Certification (USA). The programme corresponds to the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt level.

The certificate is recognised internationally and does not expire.
